Baboró at Rosedale. We were so lucky to welcome the wonderful Baboró team into Rosedale School. Through a series of immersive, sensory-rich stories, our pupils enjoyed incredible adventures together — travelling to Hawaii, sailing on ships, journeying through stormy seas, exploring the changing seasons, and even cooking with a quirky Michelin-starred chef. Each experience was carefully crafted to be exciting, meaningful and accessible, allowing every pupil to engage in their own way through sound, movement, touch and imagination. The joy, curiosity and sense of wonder were truly special, and each child gained so much from these shared adventures. A heartfelt thank you to the Baboró team for bringing such creativity, warmth and magic into our school. We will treasure these experiences for a long time to come.

Sensory Science in Action at Rosedale. Science comes alive in Rosedale through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences. Through touch, sound, sight, movement and smell, our pupils explore the world with curiosity, play and wonder every day. From water play and bubbling experiments to light exploration, texture trays, temperature changes and nature investigations, learning happens through real, meaningful sensory engagement. These moments capture the joy of discovery and the magic of learning through the senses.

Thank You to Our Community Supporters We are incredibly grateful to two wonderful local groups who recently supported our school through their community fundraising events. A heartfelt thank you to Galway Pickleball, who held a match on St. Stephen’s Day and generously donated the proceeds to our school. Their kindness and thoughtfulness mean so much to our school community. We would also like to sincerely thank Salthill Knocknacarra GAA, who donated funds raised from their club day event held earlier this year. Their continued support of local schools and community initiatives is greatly appreciated. Every act of generosity, no matter the size, helps to enhance the experiences of our pupils and supports the work we do every day. We are truly thankful to be part of such a caring and community-spirited network. Go raibh míle maith agaibh to everyone involved
